Reno police are hunting a Peeping Tom who has been prowling a southwest Reno neighborhood since March, peeking into women's windows in the middle of the night.

The prowler, described as in his late teens or early 20s, wears dark-colored clothes, a dark beanie and dark frame glasses. Police released a composite sketch of the suspect on Monday.

He's been seen entering the backyards of homes in the area of West Plumb Lane and Mayberry Drive late at night. In one case, the Peeping Tom stacked items outside his victim's windows to get a better look inside the room, police said.

Police have increased patrols in the neighborhood, but asked residents to take precautions such as locking backyard gates and ensuring windows and doors are locked. Motion-sensor lights also can be helpful, police said.

Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately, police said.
