Woman murdered in purse robbery in southwest Houston - KTRK-TV

HOUSTON (KTRK) --

Police are looking for two robbers responsible for killing a woman at her southwest side apartment.

Last night around 9:30pm investigators say the woman was getting out of her car when two men grabbed her. The woman was shot twice while they stole her purse, phone and credit cards. She died at Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Police say there was a robbery about thirty minutes earlier at the same complex on Maplecrest near Beechnut. They believe it could be the same men.
