HOUSTON—Houston police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Popeye’s in southwest Houston Wednesday morning.
Police said employees were preparing for the day at the restaurant in the 9100 block of South Main around 7:30 a.m. when one of them went outside to the dumpster. A man with a gun was waiting outside and forced the employee back inside. The suspect demanded that another employee open the safe, and forced them all into the freezer.
The suspect then fled the scene. It was not known how much he got away with.
