(STMW) – Police are searching for a man suspected of committing at least five armed robberies over two days on the Southwest Side.
The suspect approaches victims on the sidewalk, pulls out a revolver handgun and demands property, according to the community alert from Area Central detectives.
The robberies happened:
-in the 6600 block of South Millard Avenue about 5 p.m. Nov. 19;
-in the 3800 block of West Marquette Road about 5 p.m. Nov. 19;
-in the 4900 block of South Lawndale Avenue about 3:30 p.m. Nov 19;
-in the 6500 block of South Springfield Avenue about 3:50 p.m. Nov. 20;
-in the 5900 block of South Kenneth Avenue about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
