An elderly man died on a Southwest Airlines flight bound for Midway Airport Friday afternoon.
William Vorisek, 88, of Newberg, Ore., was pronounced dead at Holy Cross Hospital at 1 p.m. Friday after he was found unresponsive after the plane had landed at Midway Airport, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Vorisek had no apparent signs of trauma. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
Southwest Airlines could not immediately be reached for comment.
