In a key meeting this morning, planners for the Southwest LRT project are moving closer toward a decision on a disputed section of the line's route.
The Kenilworth Corridor in Minneapolis presents competing demands for pedestrians, bicycles, freight trains and LRT trains. The various options for sorting out those demands have created stiff opposition from residents and civic leaders in St. Louis Park and Minneapolis.
