Two People Arrested In Southwest Columbus Shooting - 10TV

Two men were behind bars, arrested in connection with a southwest Columbus shooting.


Police said the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Sullivant Avenue.


Police say the victim, 25-year-old Spencer Leavell, was shot multiple times in the shoulder by the suspect, 25-year-old Frisco Mosley, out of a verbal altercation.


Mosley was arrested a short time later by Columbus police after fleeing out of a vehicle being driven by 21-year-old Alexander McGahana on South Warren Avenue, according to police.


Mosley was charged with Attempted Murder and Felonious Assault. McGahana was charged with Felonious Assault.


Leavell was taken to Mount Carmel West to undergo surgery.


He's expected to make a full recovery.
