Terrifying footage taken aboard the crashed Southwest Flight 345 has surfaced capturing passengers' experience starting just moments before landing nose first on LaGuardia's runway Monday.
A passenger’s camera pointed out their window shows the Boeing 737 steadily nearing the New York runway when without warning the plane violently jerks forward with a loud crash.
After 20 seconds of turmoil the plane appears to come to a stop before a woman screams for the frightened passengers to stay in their seats.

Eight people were injured Monday after the front landing gear of the Boeing 737-700 with 150 people on board collapsed on landing at New York's LaGuardia airport. The accident forced the temporary closure of the airport.
"My legs. Will they bend?" a woman asks as others around her begin chatting and some even nervously laughing.

Then one man claims to see smoke, a sighting gradually supported by the others.

The view out the window as Southwest lands at LaGuardia.
They're told to stay seated, a woman — presumably a member of the cabin crew — telling them: "We are not at the gate."
Amid growing hysteria among passengers the 90-second video cuts to a view looking outside a window as the plane is seen hosed down by fire officials.
A woman is heard calling to "keep the doors closed" as passengers are heard coughing.

A look around shows a few standing in the aisle while covering their faces with items of clothing.
The National Transportation Safety Board confirmed Wednesday that the plane carrying 150 passengers did land nosegear first.

A Southwest 737 plane sits on the tarmac as passengers disembark via emergency chutes at LaGuardia on Monday.
The reason why has yet to be determined, though Southwest said the nose-pointed-down landing described by investigators violated the airline's normal procedures.
Among those passengers, 16 suffered minor injuries.
