Local WCR Chapter to meet


The next Business Resource Meeting (BRM) and luncheon for the Naples-on-the-Gulf Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) will be held Friday, July 19 at Kensington Golf & Country Club, 2700 Pine Ridge Road, Naples. The topic is “Constant Contact.The Power of email Marketing.” The guest speaker is Ingrid Molina. Networking, with lunch, begins at 11:30 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m. Cost per member: $25 in advance; $28 at the door, and $28 for guests. The public is welcome. BIA accepting entries


The Building Industry Association (BIA) is accepting entries for the 2013 BIA Industry Awards, featuring the Pinnacle and Summit Awards. Applicable categories include residential design, commercial projects, advertising and marketing and industry achievement. Eligible construction, design, marketing and/or implementation projects must have been created/produced/run/completed between August 2012 and August 2013. Achievement Awards are for an individual or company’s proven achievement in 2012 only. Entries must be received at the BIA office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. Entry packets are available at www.BIA.net or at www.bia.net/industry_awards.html. RE/MAX tops list


RE/MAX agents led the 2013 list of the top 1,000 real estate sales professionals in the U.S. as measured by the number of properties sold per agent. Published by The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends, The Thousand ranked the top 250 agents and top 250 teams for transaction sides and sales volume. When the 500 transaction standings are combined, RE/MAX agents hold 98 places. Forty-three RE/MAX agents were ranked among the Top 250 individuals for most transaction sides. Rod D’Entremont ranked 134 on the Top 250 agent list. D’Entremont has more than six years of experience in the Naples real estate market, and has helped more than 500 families buy and sell their homes.


Transactions


Real Capital Solutions (RCS), the Louisville Colorado-based real estate investment group that specializes in buying distressed assets across the nation, has purchased the 114,545-square-foot luxury retail neighborhood center, North Bay Village, at 26381 U.S. 41 S., Bonita Springs. Real Capital Solutions acquired the distressed asset for $7.45 million from CWCapital Asset Management. North Bay Village features a 28,819-square-foot multi-tenant three-story office building and a 25,726-square-foot retail space comprised of specialty stores and dining establishments featuring Bonefish Grill, First Watch, Mattress Giant, Edible Arrangements, Keller Williams Realty and a hair salon/spa. Leasing of available retail and office space in North Bay Village is handled by Cushman and Wakefield, Commercial Property Southwest Florida. North Bay Village also consists of a vacant 60,000-square-foot retail showroom on a 1.25 acre parcel that was previously occupied by a Robb & Stucky Furniture Showroom.


Investment Properties Corp. (IPC) negotiated the following transactions:


Lee County Board of County Commissioners, a political subdivision and Charter County of the State of Florida, leased 4,840 square feet of office space from Bonita Commons Realty LLC in Bonita Commons, 25987 U.S. 41 S., Suite 105, Bonita Springs. Patrick Fraley negotiated this transaction.


Shadyandkatiedotcom, a Series LLC of Oh Hello LLC, leased 2,031 square feet of retail space from 945 Central Avenue LLP at 945 Central Ave., Naples. Patrick Fraley negotiated this transaction.


Providia Home Care Corp., d/b/a Preferred Care Home Health Services, leased 2,000 square feet from Jose L. Lago at 5470 Bryson Court, Suites 101 & 102, in Park Central North, Naples. Clint Sherwood negotiated this transaction.

Life Christian Church purchased the property known as the Naples Fitness Center at 1048 Castello Drive, Naples for $1.5 million. Dave Wallace represented the seller.


Gator Trading Partners LLC leased 1,010 square feet in Newgate Tower, 5150 U.S. 41 N., Suite 205, Naples from Executive Development Co. Dave Wallace and Fred Rowe represented the landlord.


Word of Life Church leased 3,846 square feet in Lynnwood Square, 12820 U.S. 41 N., Suite 2, Naples from PF Holdings. The retail team represented the landlord.
