HOUSTON -– Firefighters were called to a burning home in far southwest Houston early Tuesday.
The fire was reported shortly after 6:15 a.m. on Quail Burg Lane just outside of Missouri City.
Aerial views from Air 11 showed a one-story home fully engulfed in flames.
One Houston Fire Department firefighter had to be pulled out of the home after being hit by falling debris. He was sitting up and appeared to be alert as he was taken away on a stretcher.
It wasn't immediately known how the fire started.
