Two burglary suspects are off the streets thanks to the quick actions of an alert neighbor in one southwest Bakersfield neighborhood.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a neighbor noticed two suspicious people at a nearby house earlier today and called the police.
The suspects had broken into a home earlier and taken items of value, but didn't get far because the neighbor gave police their license plate number and a description of their car.
After a short chase, officers caught the suspects and arrested them.
