Southwest Airlines has announced daily nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Cancun, Mex. beginning November 2, 2014. The daily service is an upgrade in frequency from the airline’s current schedule of three weekly nonstop flights on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays. Southwest also announced that it will add four nonstop flights between Austin and St. Louis, Mo. for Thanksgiving.
The new Cancun flights are scheduled to depart Austin-Bergstrom at 10:35 a.m., arriving at Cancun International Airport at 1:10 p.m. The return flights will depart Cancun at 2 p.m., arriving in Austin at 4:50 p.m., all times local.
Nonstop flights between Austin and St. Louis will operate Nov. 25-26 and Nov 30-Dec 1. On those days, flights will depart ABIA at 4:50 p.m., arriving at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport at 6:50 p.m. Return flights depart St. Louis at 10:30 a.m., arriving in Austin at 12:45 p.m.
