Earlier this morning, an SUV that was allegedly carjacked crashed into a Metrobus in Southwest D.C., near the intersection of Joliet Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, WJLA reports.
A Metropolitan Police Department public information office confirmed that the incident took place at about 9:30 a.m., and that a person is in custody for robbery and theft of a vehicle. The PIO also said that two people on the bus were sent to the hospital for minor injuries, but could not release anymore details about the incident as the investigation is ongoing.
