HOUSTON – Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a violent robbery in early Saturday in southwest Houston.
Investigators said the incident happened near Kingsley and Reveille just after midnight. The victims were sitting in their SUV outside their home having drinks when the gunmen ran up and demanded they hand over their money and cell phones.
One man refused, so the suspects pistol whipped him and then shot the other man in the back, police said.
Both victims were taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Both robbery suspects remain at large, police said.
